My passion is health. Osteopathy is merely a tool for helping to achieve optimal health. As well as offering physical treatments, I also work with clients to improve strength, flexibility and metabolic health. This includes exercise, diet and mental wellbeing. In other words, anything that affects stiffness in the joints and muscles or inflammation levels.

All areas of your musculo-skeletal system are treated. Neck, Shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, upper back, ribs, lower back, pelvis, hips, knees, legs and feet.

During your first visit, we will discuss your overall health and wellbeing, including any history of illness, surgery, accidents, and medications. We’ll discuss your current injury or condition and symptoms. With your permission I’ll perform some orthopaedic testing and examination to establish a diagnosis and/or other influencing factors or possibilities. Taking on board your situation, available time, and any limitations, we’ll devise a treatment plan to create a healing pathway back to good health.

Treatment Style And Manipulation (or not!)
The word “manipulation” has different meanings to different people ranging from gentle massage style movement (aka soft tissue manipulation) through to fast forceful “clicking” type manipulations. My many years of experience allows me to tailor any physical manipulation to a level that you are comfortable with. I always ask your permission first to establish your preference. Over the years, I have treated many people that are older or medically frail or people that just prefer gentler style of treatment. Equally I also treat the physically strong muscular physique types who tend to prefer more forceful treatments. This aspect is always discussed with clients so that we can work together comfortable, safely and effectively.
